The Courtyard of Super-Daydreams is a set of visual art works made by the Les Pas Perdus a French visual art collective – Guy-André Lagesse, Nicolas Barthélemy, Jérôme Rigaut – and of 65 occasionals of art. They wittingly form a variegated group of co-authors inventing through their relationship to whim and the ordinary.
The elements of the exhibition were created in three different places over a period of three years : Bordeaux-south during its renovation, the new business district of La Joliette and the old district of Saint Mauront in Marseilles. A specific medium was chosen in relation to each situation and works took shape in assembling objects (grafts, cuttings and approaches) or images (graphics and photomontages).
A particular care and the time required are given to meetings and in manufacturing art work between the visual artists and each protagonist, artist for the occasion. Out of these meetings, poetical proposals appear and confirm that what we try to make visible, is the invisible…
